Immediately after receiving the news, the family began to plan the agenda for the upcoming days. They began to brainstorm were to take the Sales family in Panamà ¡. They got very excited with each day closer to the Sales Visit and the itinerary they had been planning; one of the places that they were the most excited about was the day trip they planned to the Bay of Panama. The much anticipated day arrived, and the Castillo family at Tocumen International Airport picked up the Sales family. Since they had long trip and were hungry, they decided to have a family lunch at Jimmy’s Restaurant. Some of them ordered seafood that was cooked by a much known chef. They had an amazing time eating and sharing memories together. After lunch, they experienced riding around town in the new metro bus. During the ride they noticed that a lot of smoke was coming out of the metro bus. After a few hours both families decided to go to Multi Plaza Mall. They bought many things, including clothes, shoes and bathing suits. After the mall they went to the hotel, to get some rest and get ready for their Bay of Panama tour the next day. The next day came and the Sales were ready to experience the planned tour in the Bay of Panama. Much to their surprise, the Sales family experienced a much contaminated Bay of Panama and was very disappointed to say the least. The Castillo family was very embarrassed and ashamed of this terrible situation. The Sales family witnessed the high level of contamination in the bay. They saw dead fish and turtles, cans, plastic, shoes, and waste in all types of shapes and forms. The smell present in the Bay was unbearable and disgusted the visitors. Therefore they decided to leave. The sales and the Castillo families continued their planned activities during their visit in Panama. However, they could not forget the unpleasant experience at the Bay of Panama. The Sales family realized that the Panamanian authorities and all citizens regarding the contamination in the Bay of Panama must do something. After having this embarrassing and shameful experience, the Castillo family came up with the amazing idea of starting a voluntary project for people of all ages interested in the cleansing of the Bay of Panama. Many media networks and social networks were informed about this project. Giving it the exposure needed for it to be a success. The Castillo family was able to inform citizens about the current issue. They expressed that the Bay was very contaminated by waste. Many comments were made by the viewers, showing interest and supporting the idea for the cleansing of the Bay. The Bay of Panama’s first day of cleaning arrived on a sunny Saturday morning. Attendance at the event surpassed 5000 citizens. A lot of effort went into the event for it to come true. As a result, the community helpers collected hundreds of trash bags. There is still much work to do in the bay of Panama, but the contribution to the cleaning process by all that participated is a big step and a much valued one. The sales Family is looking forward to their next trip to Panama, and are eager to see all the advancements done and achieved in the cleansing of the Bay of Panama.

In an age of anti-communism fervor, Miller’s liberal political beliefs seemed threatening to some American politicians, which is unusual in retrospect, considering that the Soviet Union banned his plays. Miller was summoned before the HUAC and was expected to release names of any associates he knew to be communists. Unlike Kazan and other artists, Miller refused to give up any names. â€Å"I don’t believe a man has to become an informer in order to practice his profession freely in the United States,† he said. He was charged with contempt of Congress, a conviction that was later overturned. In response to the hysteria of the time, Miller wrote one of his best plays, The Crucible. Marilyn Monroe By the 1950s, Miller was the most recognized playwright in the world, but his renown wasn’t only because of his theatrical genius. In 1956, Miller divorced Mary Slattery, his college sweetheart with whom he had had two children, Jane Ellen and Robert. Less than a month later he married actress and Hollywood sex symbol  Marilyn Monroe, whom hed met in 1951 at a Hollywood party. From then on, he was even more in the limelight. They were considered less â€Å"civilized† than the other ethnic groups mentioned. They were considered to be Semi-Nomadic because they practiced the slash-and-burn as their way of getting food. Before the French came and made Indochina a Colony the Hmong were persecuted for their way of life, after that they were left alone and not bothered by the other groups. During the Indochina War (1946-1954) the Hmong people supported the French because they protected them. When the French pulled out they left the Hmong people to survive on their own, little did they know that this would not be the last time this would happen to them. In the early 1960’s JFK sent in the Special Forces (Green Berets) to South Vietnam. They landed right by the Hmong villages. Right after they landed, the American soldiers started to recruit the young men in the villages to help them fight the North Vietnamese. They agreed to do this not because they had love for the South Vietnamese, but because they thought that the United States would be a good replacement for protection since the French had left them with no protection. The United States also recruited young Hmong men who lived in Laos to form a â€Å"Secret Army†. The Hmong people were dedicated to help the United States in the war and would do whatever it took to have the United States protection from the communist North Vietnamese. Little did they know but that protection wouldn’t be there for long and they would be left to face the enemy on their own. Before the United States recruited the men of Hmong, they were a neutral party in Vietnam. In 1973 the United States soldiers were ordered to pull out of the Vietnam War and left the Hmong with no protection. When the communist won the war in 1975 they ordered the Hmong people, women and children include, to come down from the mountains. They wanted to be able to monitor what the Hmong’s were doing. I guess they probably did this to make sure that they were no longer a threat to them. Most of the Hmong people refused to come down from the hills. When the Hmong refused to come down the communist started dropping Soviet supplied toxic agents on the villages from the air, this was called â€Å"Yellow Rain†. The yellow rain wiped out whole villages including men, women and children. In 1975 the Hmong people fled to refugee camps in Thailand to escape the horror and torture that they would have to suffer from the Lao Communist Government. In late 1975 they began arriving to the United States from the refugee camps. In the early 1990’s the refugee camps were forced to close and the people who had not fled to the United States were forced to go to non-un camps. Many of them tried to become Thai citizens but that entailed getting large sums of money from relatives. Most of those refugees could not obtain citizenship because their relatives did not even have enough money to take care of their direct families. In 2006 the Thai government made the remaining Hmong people relocate to a more isolated area in Thailand, many of them are deprived access to join their families in the United States. They are basically left to fend for themselves and fear for their lives every day. If they would never have been asked to join the United States in the fight in Vietnam, they would still be living like they always did before. They were not an enemy to anyone until they trusted the United States and later that trust was broken. The Hmong people who now live in the United States have what we would call a better life. In my opinion if we would have never disturbed them and their lives during the war they would have never known a different way of life. They would probably be happy just the way they were, with no enemies to mess with them and have never have lost most of their people in the war. It is our fault that they ever had this conflict.
